Taken with a terrible camera, but I just love the subject and the GLOW! (Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, CA)
Thanks Ailsa at Where’s My Backpack for another great theme!

I don’t hesitate to say pink is one of nature’s most dynamic colors. It comes in so many forms and variations, and appears in so many different ways; e.g. in flowers, with sunsets, in geological formations . . . nature’s pink hues are seemingly endless. Here are just a few! Thanks to Ailsa at Where’s My Backpack for the lovely theme =)
Some of the seemingly infinite amazing geology in the desert southwest, this just outside Zion Nat’l Park in Utah.
Start with a sunset, end with one–it’s only fitting for PINK! This amazing scene presented itself to me on the north shore of Mono Lake (that’s a tufu tower on the right), reflecting its magical colors onto the surface of the inimitable, salty inland sea.
I can’t resist–like I said, too much breathtaking pink beauty in the natural world. Part 2/2 coming soon!
There’s nothing in the world quite like the wild gardens nature can produce when simply left alone! Here are just a few lovely samples. Thanks Ailsa at Where’s My Backpack for the theme! If you’re wondering about flower type or garden location, just ask in a comment! =)
Ah, love. Romance. They come in countless forms. Here are a just a few of them. Thanks Ailsa at Where’s My Backpack for this week’s theme!

Can’t for the life of me recall this flower’s name, but their fine little petals so much remind me of parchment paper!
Thanks Ailsa at Where’s My Backpack? for another great Theme!
